OUR OPINION: 17 Kingsland is a great condo-style rental. This particular duplex sits on the corner of a top floor 4th floor walkup, boasting privacy and a large, private roof deck. From the living room a direct view of the Williamsburg bridge is head on. Step onto the glass encased balcony and you will see midtown. On your private rooftop terrace you can garden (water hose), listen to tunes (power outlet), and enjoy direct views of the WBurg Bridge, Freedom Tower, the Empire State Building, and Chrysler Building. The finishes are very nice, featuring modern spacious bathrooms and kitchen with island, storage, and stainless appliances. Additionally, there is a stacked Bosch washer/dryer in-unit, and private storage unit in the basement.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The Graham L train area is booming. The night life has picked up quite a bit as well, with numerous bars opening their doors. Top restaurants such as Zona Rosa (delicious Mexican food) and Osakana (seafood market) are right around the corner. The property stands on a quiet tree-lined street, close to the Graham L train, but far enough away that none of the foot traffic or noise is nearby.
